FAKE NEWS
FAKE NEWS: A video has been circulated online alleging that some Ugandan entered a house in Luweero Uganda and inflicted injuries onto some South Sudanese children. That is not true, the video being circulated was recorded in Uganda at a place called Bongole Zone in Ndejje, Makindye where an assailant armed with a panga forcibly entered the residence of Ms. Ayebare Anita, 25 years old(Ugandan). This occurred on, April 29th, 2024, at approximately 10:30 am. He demanded a ransom to the sum of five million Uganda shillings in cash from Ms. Ayebare Anita. When she resisted, the perpetrator turned his aggression towards her four children. Due to the swift response of both local residents and the police stationed at Mirimu, the assailant was subdued. It was later realized that he had inflicted injuries on the four children. The children were immediately rushed to Nalujja Medical Center, Batabata Entebbe road, for urgent medical attention. However, their condition remains critical.
