H.E Ambassador Simon Juach Deng

On 5th October 2022, Simon Juach Deng become the full Ambassador of the Republic of South Sudan to Uganda. With his vast knowledge and experience humanitarian intervention, Longer term-development, expert on political Economy of aid - Simon Juach Deng leads the Ugandan mission.

Background

Simon served as Country Director, War Child Canada, South Sudan, Country Representative, Comitato Collaborazione Medica, South Sudan and  a Deputy Country Director, Tearfund UK, South Sudan.

Worked as International Programs Coordinator, the ACT FOR PEACE, international aid agency of National Council of Churches in Australia and actalliance member. International Programs Coordinator & Gender and Child Protection focal point, the ACT FOR PEACE.
